Every year since 1980, on the 3rd Sunday in June, individuals take part in one of the more unusual running events in the United Kingdom, The Seven Hills of Edinburgh - 14 miles with 2200 feet of ascent/descent. Starting at Calton hill fixed order but competitors choose route.
