Code of Bushido

Bushido, meaning "Way of the Warrior", is a Japanese code of conduct and a way of the samurai life, loosely analogous to the concept of chivalry. It originates from the samurai moral code and stresses frugality, loyalty, martial arts mastery, and honor until death.

The code and the amount of virtues depended over time and age. It's main purpose still stays the same in this day and age: To die a good and honorable death.
I have included 10 of them in this game with interpretation of the virtues that can be followed in this period of time.
In Feudal Japan virtues could counteract each other. For example: Loyality meant in that time unwavering loyality until death for your lord and emperor. Filial Piety means respect for your parents and ancestors. When both of them collided you had to put loyality above the suffering of your parents. Here both could end in dishonor in both virtues resulting in seppuku (ritual suicide) to regain ones honor.
You could ask for example what if the person you should respect is not that good for you and/or your surroundings. That's a question where the resolve should be found with your own rectitude.
