Wow. No way! Of all the numbers about the cosmos we hear over and over, we never hear the real size of the universe... probably because no one's willing to try to explain the details behind it.

This is a sort of counter-intuitive thing. A sort of commonsense logic says that if the universe is 13.7 Billion years old, we should only see 13.7 Billion light years into it in any direction.
