I actually wear standard issue wood clogs at the estate grounds where I spend part of my working days. There's a lot of clay ground here in the fruit area. They keep your feet dry and if a tractor drives over them or a horse stands on them, they'll crack but your foot won't...

Kids play soccer in them sometimes; now there's something that makes your feet strong!
