I was thinking that the size reduction of the maps would make that unreadable, but as I don't read Chinese, I couldn't really tell. Now I know.
I don't think it is much of an advantage for you, though. It was established pretty early on in games on album covers that the people who were reading the titles were slower than those who were just going by graphic images.

Note that:
There are gaps between some dynasties, and overlaps between others. Some dynasties were split,others waxed and waned. The maps here may not match other maps of the same dynasties because of that.
In the older dynasties especially, dates may be uncertain.
The cause of all this is that Chinese history is very complex.
And yes, I left out some of them, especially ones that were limited in time or geographic extent. There just wasn't room.

The difference is that this game has the maps, which could be taken to be sort of a "crutch'. Or as another way to learn the same material...
