It is one and the same thing. Only in the United States it is spelled installment. In Canada as well as in other English speaking countries the spelling is only instalment.

There are several correctly spelt words that will show up as misspelt. I noticed its (a pronoun) and allot (a verb). There are other correctly spelt alternatives but seeing as they weren't a (i.e. one) word I didn't choose them.
