Sorry, but I think you are wrong there.
In English, "lake" applies to freshwater seas, while "sea" is used for marine waters of secondary order. We haven´t gotten that precise distinction in Scandinavian languages: "Sjö/sjø/sø" are mostly used to name inland freshwater lakes, but apply (partly) to those secondary marine waters as well.
"Ocean" and "Hav" are synonyms, however: both apply to marine waters of first order.
Though what by definition is of first and second order is not necessarily alike. For instance, in Norwegian, Sargasso Sea is named "Sargassohavet" ("Sargasso Ocean"), and South China Sea is named "Sørkinahavet" ("South China Ocean"). Not easy, this, but very fascinating.

In Swedish the word for lake is "sjö". The word for Sea is "Hav". To translate it it would be "Eastern lake" instead of "Eastern Sea". The same with norwegian and danish perhaps but Im not sure if they use "sjø" as sea as well?

The first part of your comment, I simply don´t understand. As far as I can see, there are no ambiguities here. I have duplicated the Kaliningrad and Russian names, since they are obviously the same.
As for the use of Cyrillic or Latin transferred script, this is a returning debate here at PG. I chose to use the Latin transcript since I think that most players here do not read Cyrillic text very well, and will benefit more from reading it in an understandable transcript. I might of course have given preference to grammatical correctness, but this was my choice. So I decide not to make any such changes to the game.
The only thing I have changed, was a minor misspelling of the Latvian and the Lithuanian names. They should be correct now.

There are ambiguities, with coutntries sharing names for teh sea, but they don't apply to either country. Also the russian should be in Cyrillic script - you wouldn't miss out german umlauts, so don't miss Russian letters...
