I don't know what cut they use. Ground chuck is very common for burgers. Ground round is also used by some. Less commonly sirloin is used(not likely for the Big Mac). And of course, you can use any of the many and various trimmings, just sort of a grab bag.
But what does Mickey D. actually use?
I don't know. I'd guess chuck, but that's just a guess. It's not earthworms. That was just an urban legend.
