Good point about McKinley/Cuba but I assumed that some users might confuse a dot on Cuba with the Soviet missile crisis in '62.

The Spanish American War was going on during McKinley's time in office. I was expecting that dot to appear on Cuba.

You could say that for most of the dots. Like Vietnam was Nixon as well as Johnson, Wilson could have been on any of the Central Powers, FDR could have been on any of the Axis Powers...
