You're welcome!
Here in Sweden it's a part of our history so most of the names are known to many people (they are almost the same in Swedish) but I only knew what properties some of the gods/goddesses was supposed to have, now I know a little more. One of the great things about making games, you are learning a lot while researching for them.

I've heard many of these names (mainly in song lyrics and mentioned in subordinate clauses in some books). It's nice to have an overview to compare their responsibilities. It's another topic that I maybe would never have read or learned more about without the purposegames. Now I'm shure that I'll soon be off to browse Wikipedia to learn a bit more about them. Thanks Niklas!

Good series of games.

Heimdall isn't really God of the rainbow. He's the watchman of the Gods who sits at the edge of Bifröst (the rainbow and bridge between heaven and earth) waiting for Ragnarök, when he will blow the Gjallar horn.
It actually doesn't work very well to try and split the Norse pantheon into 'God of this' and 'Goddess of that', because that's not really how they were seen and they all overlap. For example, Thor is a fertility God as well as the protector of the Æsir, and Odin is connected with poetry and war as well as wisdom. It's better to think of them as like characters in a story, or as 'men writ large' than 2D cutouts representing only one aspect of human life.
