But I think you are right, Gibraltar was, and is, is a part of Great Britain. I'll change it to Cadiz.

I love your games, Niklas, theyre all really interesting. Although, Gibraltar shouldnt be consider a territory in these time. Should be more accurete Cádiz. Gibraltar belonged to Great Britain, and most of the Iberian Peninsula was occupied, except Cádiz. Right there, and in the same year, actually, was proclaimed the first constitution of Spain.

I think we have been confusing Moldova and the Principality of Moldavia. In 1812 the eastern part of Moldavia was occupied by Russia and was called Bessarabia. B later became current day Moldova.
What you see on the map in this game is the western part of Moldavia which still is a part of the Ottoman Empire in 1812. Today it is a part of Romania. So I thibk the map is correct. See:

Moldova became a part of the Russian empire in 1812, so we are both right... See http://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moldavien Wallachia's doing through the Turko-Russian war, that ended in 1812, is hard to understand... This game is now my 750th, so I thank you again Niklas, it is a great way to become a Grand Master!
