Yes you are right. I accidentally followed a tributary, the Rio Meta, westwards. The Orinoco does curve to the south from where the dot is placed. I will not be able to make the change though.

the Orinoco river is curved like the letter "C" rather than being a straight line, hopefully you can still change the rivers' shapes.
