i like your game(s) a lot. one comment though, macedonia is normally named "Mazedonien" and not "Makedonien". Makedonien is generally the region which also extends into Greece (there seems to be some dispute about the name though). Still I believe it is commonly known with Z rather than with K.

5 stars out of 5 just for the anecdote above and for a great game, RonaldDerGrosse!

Thank you! Your changes are now being used. Ausländer can never get a hundred percent auf Deutsch. I was always grateful to such understanding and helpful people when I lived in Austria in the 60's. I did get Kaiserschmarn to eat in the restaurant rather than Kaiserschnitt!

First of all, I like your game very much. Thank you for it!

Now some small things you can do to enhance it in an upcoming update:

Write die Schweiz and die Türkei each without the article (die),

Moldova: Correct is Moldawien,

Tschechischer Staat: Correct is Tschechien (or more formal: Tschechische Republik),

Sicilien = Sizilien,

Slovenien = Slowenien,

Bosnien = Bosnien und Herzegowina (Bosnien denominates but the northern part of the state Bosnien und Herzegowina).

On a side note, Belarus is officially correct. More common however is Weißrussland. Oh, and why did you leave out Montenegro? You may want to add Crete (Kreta in German), too.

Again thanks for the game! Regards from Germany.

Right you are! I don't know why I wrote Finnland.

Doffa  February 27, 2007

Gotland is a part of Sweden.

RonaldDerGrosse  February 27, 2007

Gotland is a part of Finland. It was only included to give it a German name like Sardinia and Corsica and the Balearic Islands which have visibility on this map, none of which are countries in their own right.

Doffa  February 27, 2007

Aber Gotland is not a country. Weird inclusion.
