I know it is hard, but I liked it, even though a lot of the counties are now incoparated in to other counties, and the names are slightly changed.

I agree with zapvet. Way too many counties all on one map. The only way it could be more confusing would be to add cities and county seats. Wait... that might give the designer the wrong idea....

Perhaps you could split the counties up. That is an incredibly daunting task as it stands.

The basic idea is a good one but I agree with zapvet & Pollywog. Too many counties on one quiz. Why not break into 3 games - Scotland, Wales & England. Also using current county names rather than historical ones would make it a more useful exercise to master.
