You're right...the brand names will be better known and some won't be known outside the U.S. That's why I'm looking forward to brands from Europe, Asia, and S. America...so you can teach us all! :o) Thanks for all your cool game ideas. See you 'round.

Thanks for your feedback, famisamis :)
I've made this map with internationally known companies (that i picked from this site: http://bwnt.businessweek.com/brand/2006/) so that people outside the US could play it as well. The companies you suggested are not as well known in Europe, however i've added them, and i've deleted a few dots in clustered areas. Anheuser was already on the map via Budweiser. Furthermore as i intended to make it a brand map instead of a company map (brands are usually better known), i've put the companies between brackets.
Cheers!

This is a really cool idea, Thomsi. Is there anyway to make it less clumpy in Silicone Valley and Southern CA? And I might be biased, but it would be neat if you added some companies in the Midwest such as General Mills, Sprint PCS, Maytag, Anheuser-Busch...I got a few ideas from the Forbes 500 site. This would be a stellar idea to do for Europe, and Asia, too. And South America. Thanks for the cool game!
