Vegetation of Brazil - Game Information

That's kind of the point, I guess. We get these images of what a country (or state, region, etc.) is, and the reality is often much different. When I found this map, I was surprised by the extent (more than the presence) of scrublands and savannas. I figured others would be surprised, too. I had no idea there would be pine forests at all. But there they are, in the uplands.

I like games that challenge the stereotypes in this way, both as a player of others' games and in making my own.

Brazil has scrublands and grasslands? Who would've guessed? The Great Plains extend into New Mexico (broadly), but not into Iowa at all? Really? Wow!

This is a great site, and it really took off once David made it possible for users to add games.

I found this surprisingly difficult - various types of forest in particular!
