I'd agree with you on the landscape of the area. I always thought the Tirol of Austria was the greenest green in all the world. I just finished off the bottle of Rhineland wine that I had. In Innsbruck there was a wine called Gumpoldskirchner which was an excellent Riesling wine but can't find it here.

Hi RonaldDerGrosse! It's a great pleasure to see your comments again :) I agree this one is difficult for foreigners. I rode this route every day (in the past), for nearly two years. I think it's the most beautiful landscape in the world; steep vineyards, knight's castles, teeny villages with timbered houses and the river, of course. A perfect dream.
