I can't remember where I got it from but I think the tall corn state may be a valid nickname but I think that Hawkeye State is more commonly used and I changed the game accordingly. Strange that it took almost three years for someone to notice, thanks!

No, Alaska is the "Land of the Midnight Sun".

The "North Star State" is Minnesota.

i looked in Wikipedia and they mentioned both nicknames so I added "Land of Lincoln".

I think for most people that Illinois is the Land of Lincon - and that's what their license plates say, too. Prairie State - not well known even if "official".
