Imperio Espanol Quiz Information

I read that Spain did not incorperate Portugal's colonies into its empire when it annexed it. Plus I too doubt that Portugal had maintained such an empire for so long,the dutch did take over most of its possesions, especially in Asia.

I like this quiz, but you can hardly claim that Felipe I of Portugal (Felipe II of Spain) maintained Portugal's African, Arabian, Indian, and Asian entrepots between 1580 and 1640. His policy was to focus on the American possesions, and as a result, the Dutch penetrated Asia.
