to KeshaWarnedYou: That is not the reason that Pluto is no longer considered a planet. The reason is that it is very small, has an irregular orbit, and has cleared virtually no objects out of its path of orbit.

Pluto is currently not a "planet" because of what it's made out of. The inner planets,as you probably know, are made of rock. The outer planets, however, are made of gas. Pluto is on the outer side, made of rock. Meaning it's just another celestial body out in our Solar System, because it doesn't follow the rule.

Wow. A lot of repetition that Pluto isn't a Planet. What I want to know, is why don't they just add a couple of planets, and say that Pluto is a planet. It seems that it would be easier to add planets than to remove them, and the word planet is just a word, without a fixed meaning.
