Dots are poorly set (Aachen and Dresden are just two examples), and Basel isn't even a German city!
One other remark: Weeze has just about 10,000 inhabitants and is well know for ... nothing. There are lots of towns with more inhabitants and well know sites, for example Andernach (~ 30,000) with its world highest cold-water geyser or Bayreuth (~75,000) which its famous Richard Wagner festival.
There are lots of cities above 100,000 inhabitants in Germany, that you don't mention, but then again, we have Rendsburg - wow!
