I've had a lot of comments on other games of this kind where people said exactly the opposite.

You should do city populations, less confusing.

This game features the 2nd largest metro areas, I have made another game with the largest.

definitely think you should check your stats niklas, as a Bostonian i know that Boston's metro area dwarfs Worchester

I based the game on metropolitan instead of city population.

US population measurements are becoming a bit misleading today because many a city and county are joining together to form a combined population center for certain advantages. One of them is First Class City status. Lexington and Fayette County did this in Kentucky. In an atlas that I bought this past summer Lexington is listed as the largest city surpassing Louisville which recently voted to combine Louisville and Jefferson County. If the three northern counties across the river from Cincinnati would do the same thing than Kentucky would have to go back to the drawing board and flip a coin as to who is the largest. The same situation for Ohio, Georgia, Indiana, etc. The only true measurement for population should be metropolitan areas. Most of the time no one wants the burdens of the central city. Augusta, Georgia and Richmond county did the same thing. Most Us citizens would know Augusta is the place where the golf tournament is played each year, but would probably think Savanah or Macon would be larger.

You're partly correct, Birmingham is the largest (231 483) but Montgomery is 2nd (200 127), Mobile is 3rd (191 544). All according to the source mentioned in the game description. I changed it accordingly, thanks for letting me know.

Birmingham is the largest city in Alabama. Mobile is the 2nd largest.
