Ronald:
That's what makes it hard. Green Bay in New Zealand? No, Really! I know of at least 2 Black Hills, 3 Red Rivers, and so on. That's without looking too hard for duplicate names.
Most of these things are river, sea, mountain, etc. So Red, Black, Yellow and White seas. The same for rivers. If I do version 2, I'll have to collect some more obscure types of names, like some of what you suggested in our earlier discussion.

A little tough without the map, but good. Nice idea...

I did better on this one because I did the other first. My mind wanted to look for White Sands, NM or the Green Mts of Vermont, only to see that there was no dot there - back to square one!

If this one seems too tough, start with the easier version with the map.
Comments encouraged for both this game and its fully-mapped companion.
Thanks to all my friends who have already commented on this. You've made some good suggestions that I may use in the future. And I've used a few here.

I did this without looking at the easy version first. It was a litle confusing at first, but quite interesting after I figured out the pattern and the interesting use of colors. This was a great game.
